Dust the dark-polished teakwood frame, spindle crest, and rockers regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to maintain the wood's natural lustre. Gently vacuum the woven cane backrest and seat using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris from within the intricate weave. Avoid applying sharp, concentrated pressure (like standing or kneeling) on the natural cane seat to preserve its tautness and structural integrity. Ensure the floor area under the rockers is free of small debris to prevent scratching the wood and to maintain a smooth rocking motion. Keep the chair away from direct, harsh sunlight to prevent the natural cane fibres from drying out and becoming brittle.
